I am often asked for advice regarding what to do regarding the music for the ceremony. Your music sets the ambiance for your entire Ceremony. Live music is so much more elegant than music provided by the DJ; first of all, it is rich in sight as well as sound, but also the song can be ended smoothly at just the right moment when the bridesmaids arrive at the front, smoothly transitioning to the bridal procession, without the song being ended ubruptly in the middle, and again when you as the bride reach the front.

PRELUDE MUSIC: 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony as guests arrive and are seated. Traditionally, the grandmothers are the last to be seated before parents.

You will want to choose one Processional for the (Parents and) Attendants and a different Processional for the Bride, as well as a Recessional for the Bridal Party. You do not need to choose all the Prelude Music; your musician(s) will play appropriate music.
You may wish to have something played or sung quietly during the vows, the lighting of the Unity Candle, or as a solo between readings during the ceremony.
